If you forget your password, you can get it by emailing me privately at emperor_ming@tiscali.co.ukYou must provide me with the username AND email address that you used when you registered with Mingo City. If you're unsure which email address you used at the time, you can inform me of 2 or more possibilities. I'll check my records and send the password to the email addrerss you used to register. Alternatly, you can register a second time using a different, but you may be required to use a different USERNAME, i.e. oldname was: "Freddie ", new name could be "Freddie 2" etc. The old name will eventually be deleted.

Because of the recent deleted websites in the Mingle webring, I propose we use WinMX to allow others to download our collection. As far as I'm aware, you can't search for files by searching initially for the users USERNAME, but I have a plan. :- ) Firstly (unless you have it) you'll need at least version 3.22 of WinMX from... www.winmx.comTo identify ourselves, we can use a unique title of a song that is in our shared WinMX folder. This will allow others to find you and your other shared files. As an example, I'll begin by stating that I have a unique file in my shared WinMX folder named ming671905.mp3b] (of course I must be online when you search otherwise you'll get no positive result). If you intend following this method to allow others to identify you, now you should download the file ( ming671905.mp3 ) and rename to youtname123456[/b] or whatever, then and use it as your identifying file by placing the renamed file in your shared WinMX folder. Next inform others what the file is called so they can search for it and also find your other files. Once the identifying file has been located via a regular search, select it with a right click and view what else that user has to offer via the BROWSE option I'd suggest that we either attempt to duplicate each- others files so that copies can be downloaded when one or more of us are offline, or we agree what we put in our individual sharded folders - maybe one of us would have only Brian's songs, another only Queen tracks etc. The above is theorhetical, so I don't know if it'll actually work, but we can try and it'll be better than having our websites deleted all the time and of course there are no uploads for us, plus you know who's getting what from you If you wantthat info). :- ) Any comments, ideas or queries, just ask here.
